Loot and Rewards¶
This page documents the Pro build. Pro keeps enchantments on vanilla armor, tools, weapons, books, potions, arrows, costs, and rewards.
InstancedDungeons supports loot chests, mission keys, boss rewards, trigger rewards, and custom item providers.
Loot Chests¶
Create a loot chest config:
Add the item in your main hand to the loot table:
Loot chest files live in:
Example:
Mission Keys¶
Mission keys use the MISSION type and are guaranteed supply entries.
loot-table:
- type: MISSION
item: KEY
stage: 1
quantity: 1
lore:
- "&7A key used to unlock a dungeon stage."
Mission keys are bound to the instance where they dropped and are removed when the player leaves that instance.
Boss Rewards¶
Open the boss reward editor:
Boss and trigger delivery is controlled by reward-logic:
delivery accepts INVENTORY or GROUND.
| Recipient | Objective | Allowed delivery |
|---|---|---|
PARTY_SHARED |
Boss or trigger | GROUND only |
LEADER |
Boss or trigger | INVENTORY only |
KILLER |
Boss only | INVENTORY only |
ACTIVATOR |
Trigger only | INVENTORY only |
EVERY_ALIVE |
Boss or trigger | INVENTORY or GROUND |
Invalid combinations block the dungeon from opening and are reported by validation. GROUND + EVERY_ALIVE makes one independent reward roll for every eligible player and creates one public pile at the boss or trigger location. Inventory overflow drops safely at the recipient's location.
Only online, alive party members inside the instance world count for EVERY_ALIVE. Supported custom items follow the same delivery rules as vanilla items.
For existing dungeons, boss rewards keep GROUND + PARTY_SHARED and trigger rewards keep INVENTORY + EVERY_ALIVE unless an administrator changes them.
Reward entries are independent. If you place 4 diamonds in one GUI slot and 2 diamonds in another slot, the plugin saves two separate reward entries.
The Pro admin GUI exposes both reward-logic profiles under Boss & Trigger. The test control uses normal left-click for a non-destructive entry preview and Shift-left-click for a real random roll. A real test follows INVENTORY/GROUND delivery at the testing administrator and supports every configured custom-item provider.
Trigger Rewards¶
Open the trigger reward editor:
Trigger rewards are saved in:
They are given when the configured trigger completes the dungeon.
Example:
